Adult  Volunteers C.I.T.s  (Counselors in Training) Adult volunteers are individuals who volunteer week of their summer to spiritually  nurture campers at Caney Camp. An adult volunteer must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check.   To apply, fill out the Volunteer Application and a background check form and send it to  Caney in the mail or by email. You may also give it to the Directors of the camp you  would like to work. The Directors and Camp Manager must approve of all volunteer  counselors. The Counselors in Training are “under-age” volunteers who give a week of their summer  to spiritually nurture campers at Caney Camp. C.I.T.s are high school and current college  students. High school students must have completed the 8th through 12th grades.  C.I.T.s must attend one Saturday training prior to camp. You may apply online or you  can fill out the C.I.T Application and background check form and send it to Caney in the  mail. Then attend one of the Saturday trainings here at Caney.
